Teen boy shoots father dead after violent family fight in Chalmette hotel room, sheriff says

A 16-year-old boy is accused of shooting his father dead in a Chalmette motel Sunday after a fight between the man and his wife turned physical, according to the St. Bernard Parish Sheriff’s Office.
