Search suspended for escaped Mississippi inmate, Pointe Coupee Sheriff's Office says

The Pointe Coupee Sheriff’s Office suspended a search for an escaped inmate from Mississippi who is believed to no longer be in the area, the Sheriff’s Office said Sunday morning.
