Mother accused in Ascension gas station shooting pursuing self-defense claim

The defense attorney for an Ascension Parish mother accused of shooting another mother during a brawl at a Dutchtown gas station earlier this month said Wednesday he will soon file a motion to claim self-defense for his client.
