Honeywell Geismar plant gets $14.8 million for expansion, will create 50 construction jobs

The U.S. Department of Energy announced Friday it has awarded the Honeywell facility in Geismar $14.8 million to allow the plant to increase production of a energy efficient refrigerant used in electric heat pumps.
